What a GREAT weekend

So this weekend was so awesome. I started out going to work. (of course when do I ever get a Saturday off?) Anyways I left early because I had originally requested it off for Amanda's baby shower but they scheduled me for a half day, but oh well. Anyways I went to Amanda's baby shower and it was such a beautiful day. Oh my goodness, it took place in the Lee's backyard. There was tons of people there. I was very fashionably late and I got there as she was opening presents. Then after everyone left I hang out with Amanda and Patty and helped them clean up. It was so nice being able to spend time with her because I haven't been able to spend hardly anytime with her since Amanda and Braden moved to Utah. After we finished cleaning up a friend of ours Emily Griffiths Weeks called the Lee's and were in the park next door (pretty much the Lee's backyard) and she had her 2 little girls with her. So Amanda and I visited with her for a little bit then then Amanda and Patty went to Amanda's in-laws for a BBQ.


Sunday morning my bro Josh and I left for Herron Island (for more info on Herron Island click here) a little private island in the Puget sound near Purdy, Home, Gig Harbor area my parents own a cabin/beach house there and Josh and I went to visit everyone who were already up there (Lisa Wells, Evan & the boys, my parents, and LillyAna and Adrian). It was so much fun visiting with everyone. Everyone had fun driving around in the golf-carts. The weather was BEAUTIFUL. I drove my little car around the Island with LillyAna and Adrian. We went to the park which was so much fun...then we went down to the beach and it was BEAUTIFUL. I could've stayed there all day. Me and Lilly went on the dock and put our feet in the water it was cold but felt good. Then we all met back up at the cabin for hot dog roasting and my mom's famous "Jodie Beans" it was so much fun. After dinner Josh and I had to catch the ferry back to the mainland and make our voyage home. It was such a fun weekend. I just wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow.

Also Happy Memorial Day everyone! I unfortunately didn't get really any pictures from this weekend except for a picture of Lilly and I and a friend of Amanda's was taking pictures at her baby shower so maybe I'll get some pics up later.
