Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July and spent it family and friends. For the holiday we went up to Kayak Point (click here for more details on Kayak Point) It was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the food was amazing (because my mom's an amazing cook). Jana and her kids came up and they had a blast swimming, building Sandcastles, digging for clams. But I think their most favorite was Kayaking. Grandpa and "Uncle" Bruce brought over the kayaks and the kids just went to town, even Hannah. Hannah wanted me to take them out in the kayak but I convinced her Grandpa would be better since I hadn't kayaked with anyone sitting in front of me. They looked so cute with their life-jackets. Jana and I of course after they were done went out in the boats, it was so great being back in a kayak again. Then Uncle Bruce paddled over from the picnic part of Kayak Point Dale and Luke Green over in this boat floating thing (it was awesome see below for a picture). Then his girls and wife came over and all of the kids wanted to go in it including Hannah (which was very suprising to me) and they had a blast in it. Then we did sparklers and fireworks that was fun and then Jana and the kids left and Dad, mom, Josh, and I stayed and watched the the sunset over Camano Island it was beautiful. Then we used to go to the Lynnwood High School's 4th of July celebration and fireworks display but we haven't gone for a couple of years because our neighborhood sets off amazing fireworks and we have our own fireworks show without leaving home, it's awesome. Jana and the kids did go to Lynnwood High School to watch the show, and they came over afterwards to set off a couple more fireworks.
