25 random facts about me


So I got tagged on Facebook but I decided to do it on my blog too.


1. I was born in Soeul, Korea and was adopted by my parents and brought to the states when I was 8 months

2. My family and friends are the most important things in my life.

3. I am fluent in Sign Language and I learned a few signs when I was like 10 and then took a Sign Language course in High School and then afterwards I attended the Deaf congregation (Ward) and interpreted for 2 years

4. I am a very trusting person, but once you betray my trust it's hard for me to trust you again and to earn it back4. I try to avoid confrontation at all cost.

5. I love to sing and dance

6. I first sang in front of an audience when I was 3-4 years old, my sister was in elementary school and we lived really close to the school and they had assemblies every Friday, so mom decided to go to the assembly and then pick Jana up afterwards, after the assembly everyone was standing up to get ready to leave, and before my mom could catch me I went up to the stage and grabbed the mike and started singing Skitter-ma-rink and apparently everyone stopped sat back down and waited for me to finish.

7. I am proficient on the the computers and I can learn new programs quickly.

8. I had never played Wii until just recently.

9. I am a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (AKA Mormon)

10. I have never done drugs

11. My ultimate goal is to get married and be able to be a stay at home mom

12. When I was little and my older brother Jason was in High School, he was on the wrestling team and was friends with the cheerleaders and I used to go down and cheer with them (even though I was like 7), my mom even made me a "cheerleading" shirt that had LHS on it, and my last name on the back. Everyone though it was cute..my mom even has a picture somewhere of me at a game there sitting with the cheerleaders. I was my brothers biggest cheerleader! (Jason even went to state and got 2nd best in the state)


13. Even though I was a "Cheerleader" for my brother when I got into High School I never ended up trying out for Cheerleading.

14. My most prized possession is a red stuffed elephant that I have had ever since I was 8 months, it was I believe was my 1st stuffed animal that my parents gave me.

15. I collect teddy bears and have quite a few of them.

16. I am the second to the youngest in my family

17. I love to listen to music and sing at the top of my lungs when I'm driving.

18. My favorite movie growing up was "The Little Mermaid" I am able to recite that movie word for word, and when I was little and I took a bath or went to a swimming pool I used to pretend I was Ariel all the time.

19. When I little wanted people to call me Julia instead of Julie and my middle name is Kim and I wanted it be Kimberly (don't' ask me why for Julia but Kimberly was because I used to watch the Power Rangers and Kimberly was my favorite character I know I'm a dork)

20 . I got the middle name Kim from my Korean last name which was Kim Min Ju

21. I hate the smell of cigarettes

22. My biggest fear is dying unloved

23. I have never shot a gun, which is weird because my mom had guns that were my grandpas, but I want to

24. I love reading

25. I love scrapbooking, and photography
