So, I've been super crazed lately. I haven't blogged in awhile. But, what's been going on with me, is that last weekend my friend Renae went through the temple and received her endowments. (click here to read about her experience in the temple and to see some pictures). I couldn't obviously go through so me and my friend Annie went and walked along the temple grounds. (I took some pictures that I will post later). It was so incredibly beautiful that day, and being able to be at the temple was amazing. I hadn't been to the temple since Amanda and Braden's wedding. I'm so proud of Renae, congratulations.
Speaking of Amanda and Braden, they MOVED BACK HOME! I cannot tell you how excited I am that they are back home and for good too.... I received a call from Amanda yesterday and was able to go and visit her at her work today. I haven't seen Mason since he was an infant and he's gotten SO big now. It was so great being able to see my bestest friend and catch up and seeing her baby boy who again like I said is SO big. We are planning a lunch date soon!
Anyways as far as the job hunt------no luck----YET! But I am hopeful that things will happen soon. I will definitely be writing when I get a new job!! It definitely stinks.
So, going back to the temple, I had been thinking a lot about going through the temple and receiving my endowments and have been praying about it and when I was at the temple I received this feeling that it was time to talk to the bishop, and not only that but that Sunday, I had already decided I was going to talk to the Bishop about it, and one of the talks that Sunday in Sacrament meeting was about the temple, and then after Sacrament meeting I went to talk to the Bishop about what I would need to do to start taking temple prep classes, and he had a big smile on his face and told me that he was thinking of names of people to talk to about it and apparently I was on that list!!! CRAZY, and then my mom had said she felt too that I was ready, and when I was chit-chatting with Mandy today (Amanda) she apparently had been thinking about me going through the temple. OH MY GOSH!!! SIGNS? I don't know but all I know is I haven't felt this good in a long time and that a year ago I know I wasn't ready but I know that I am now, and I can't wait to hopefully begin this process with Bishop Lee.
Well, I guess that's it for right now!! I will hopefully get better at blogging!!
