So last week I had the opportunity to attend a couple of bridal showers for 2 of my friends. Julie (AKA T.J. for Tall Julie) and one for Heather (see entry below) They are both getting married on the August 7th. Anyways Julie's Bridal shower was a lot of fun. There was a ton of desserts and we played boggle with Julie and Zach's names and their wedding date. Then they did the classic "bubble gum" game. Julie had to answer questions about Zach and for every question she got wrong she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. We played too except we answered the same questions but about Julie (we wrote our answers on the back of our boggle paper) Then we opened presents. She got a lot of fun stuff...a bunch of games so she could have game nights with Zach when they get married, a picture frame of her invitation, housewares stuff, and of course like any bride to be "wedding night" stuff.
Anyways I'm way excited for T.J. and Zach. I'm sad though because there isn't going to be "Team Julie" in Halls Lake anymore!
