Soccer 2010

Adrian is doing soccer again this year. He started the like beginning-middle of September. He's already had 4 games. Lost 2 Won 2. Last week I FINALLY got to support him. I have been busy the past couple of times so I haven't been able to support him the way I would've liked to. But last week heck yeah...

Last Thursday I went with mom to his practice and had fun watching him, then mom and I stopped at Panda Express for dinner.

Last Friday I went to his GAME!! This game was SUPER intense. We scored a goal right when mom, Josh & I first got there so I didn't really see that score so we were ahead 1-0 for awhile then the other team scored so it was tied 1-1 for most of the game. Then Joey got to do a penalty kick and kicked it perfectly so it went in it was gorgeous!! And we were able to maintain our 2-1 lead. So it was so fun to see the team so excited.

Last year Adrian had an AWESOME coach, and then right after the season him and his family ended up moving to Utah, so we weren't sure whether Adrian would want to do soccer because he loved his coach so much, but then Joe McNames (a member of my parents ward) was asked to be the coach (he was pretty much assistant coach last season)and wanted Adrian on his team. So this year he has Joe as his coach, Travis Tanner as the assistant coach and there are a lot of ward members on the team this season. And a couple of kids that are in the ward this is their first time EVER playing soccer and they are doing so good. Jackson, Ryan are doing exceptionally well for it being their first year playing.

Anyways, it was fun going to Adrian's game and watching them win and especially seeing Adrian doing something that he loves. He's such a natural soccer player, I know I said it last season but he is he's handles the ball so well has great footwork and also is good at getting the ball away from the other team.
