An interesting weekend

So this weekend was interesting...it all started on Thursday when my mom & dad told me that Jeff, Sheri, and the kids were coming up on Saturday and going to spend the night and go to church with us...now this is interesting because Jeff & Sheri don't come up this way very often. So it was great to see them. They came up Saturday night about 6:30 or so. So we had a full house because of course Jana's kids want to come over and play with their cousins.

The other thing that happened on Sunday since Jeff & Sheri came up mom asked if I had to teach on Sunday and I said no, so she asked if I would come to the ward since Jeff & Sheri were coming up. So I decided to go to my parents ward. Well on the way to church it started SNOWING!!! CRAZY!! In November...this winter however is supposed to be a very chilly, and difficult one. But that is not even the interesting one...there was a reason behind Jeff & Sheri coming up, Josh & Jana coming to church and mom asking me if I wasn't teaching to come with them to church on Sunday not just because Jeff & Sheri were coming up. On Sunday they made a change in the Alderwood 1st Ward Bishopric. Bishop Vance (who is obvious a close family friend of ours) and his counselors got released, and you might of guessed who got called to be Bishop!!!

That's right this man...






Daddy got called to be Bishop of the Alderwood 1st Ward. It's so weird knowing my dad is a Bishop. His Counselors are Brother Cameron as 1st Counselor and Brother Farrar as his 2nd Counselor. I'm so excited for my daddy...he's going to make a fantastic Bishop.

What I thought was cute is when dad got called Lilly asked me "So does this mean I have to call him Bishop or can I still call him Grandpa?"

So this was my interesting weekend I'm excited for my dad...and I'm excited for the snow...it snowed more today and school got cancelled for tomorrow so that means mom is off work...(I'll take a picture tomorrow)

oh & on Saturday it was this looser's birthday!! =) ha ha!! Happy Birthday Little Bro, he's 25 now!! CRAZY!!
