Ok...Finally an update!!

Hey everyone, I know I haven't updated in 2 months or so....But here are a few things I'm gonna talk about in the next couple of blogs so here were go...



1st Spending the week pretty much at Renae's apt


2nd How temple prep is going.


3. YSA Conference (which I'm going to do separately in a different entry)


4. Seattle trip pictures with Elyse and Annie (which again I'm going to do seperatly in a different Entry)








Ok...so spending the week at Renae's





Well, 2 weeks ago I had just gotten home and was planning on hanging out with Annie that night since she was house-sitting to help take care of a home ward members of hers house and pets and so she had to be there at certain time at night and wanted me to come over because she was bored....anyways so I was at home and I get a call from Renae telling me that her dog Hershey had gotten into some pills that her roommate had left on the floor....and wanted to know what to do (since I had worked as a vet tech/nurse before) I asked if she would like to come over and see how Hershey's doing and she said yes, so I ran over there and Hershey was a little lethargic but nothing too serious, and I recommended that we call VCA Specialty Center and see what they thought we should do, they recommended that she come in because they wanted to induce vomiting and give her some charcoal so it didn't get absorbed into her system. So we went over there and we waited there for about 3-4 hours before we got Hershey back..she was fine but Renae needed to give Hershey medicine every 8 hours for the next 3-4 days and obviously with her work schedule she wasn't able to give it to her so I spent the next 3 days at Renae's house so Hershey could get her medicine. It was really nice hanging out with Renae.



Not only that but that Friday my parents and sister and nieces and nephew were heading to California for a week.





Ok next....Temple prep classes...are going AMAZINGLY well. I'm so excited about being able to take out my endowments soon. I had my last class on Sunday July 26th however I won't be able to go through until September because the temple is closed most of August for maintenance so that was kind of a bummer but I'm ok with it. But I can honestly say that preparing to attend the temple has been so wonderful. It has been such a life changing experience for me. I have definitely felt the spirit even more strongly in my life. However with my preparing I have also felt the adversary trying to work on me even more too. But wouldn't change the experiences that I have had the last couple of months in preparing for the world.
