Let Freedom Ring

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July! I know this is a day late but I just had to say I had a great 4th of July weekend. I went to Kayak Point with my mom and dad to go camping (we of course took the kids) I went up there on Friday night and was there 'till Sunday. I had so much fun (unfortunatley I didn't bring my camera because my memory card is still full from the Ward Campout trip to Zions Camp and Activities Day Camp and I don't have a way to get them off of my camera right now but I will ASAP) But anyway, it was fun spending time with my family and the kids and the Farrars (really good family friends) One of my oldest & dearest friends Monica, her boyfriend Jachen came up from Switzerland for his first trip to the states so it was fun getting to meet him. Anyway it was a FUN FUN FUN (did I say FUN?) weekend.

So because it's the 4th of July our nations birthday...I know that it is a day we truly remember how grateful we are for the freedoms that we have! I am grateful that I live in a country that has the freedoms we have and for our forefathers who gave us that freedom. I am last but definitley not least especially grateful for the soldiers past and present who are fighting to ensure we can continue to have that freedom. America thanks you!
