Finally, getting caught up!!! Thanksgiving

Hey guys know it's been FOREVER!! But with the Holidays and having computer problems and not having access to a computer for about a month. I just finally uploaded pictures from the Holidays. So I guess there's no better way to start my updates over the next couple of days than with Thanksgiving....So get ready here we go!!

Thanksgiving 2010. Was a VERY VERY cold Thanksgiving. We had snow. (as you will be able to see from the pictures below) I think this is the 1st Thanksgiving we had snow in a very long time. Well as usual we had several people over for Thanksgiving (it never just a quiet Thanksgiving at the Hartup household) We had Jana & the kids, mom, dad, Josh, and I, The Tennells, The Vance's, & the Dibbles. We had 10 kids and 9 adults I believe. As usual everyone contributed something.

Mom-The big stuff, The turkey, a Sweet potato pie, stuffing, cranberry sauce, salad, gravy etc...
myself-mashed potatoes, and a chocolate cream pie
Jana-Green Bean Casserole, deviled eggs
The Dibbles, a pie, and I think something else I can't remember
The Vances-2 pies and the candied yams
The Tennells-a pie and rolls

Jana and the kids came over early and played in the snow with grandpa and built a snowman family (complete with a "snow doggie"). I don't have snow stuff so I didn't want to go out there so I let the kids take my camera out there and take pictures of the adventures outside. Then when people started showing up they came in and played with the other kids. We sat down to eat around 3:00. After that then we of course looked through the couple of newspapers dad bought to see if there was any good "Black Friday" sale. Jana and Felipe ended up leaving around 8:00 to go stand in line for a "Black Friday" sale at Toys' R' Us. Lori and Tanner left to go see how bad the line was at Toys R' Us and ended up coming back about 30 minutes later defeated because the lines were super long. Everyone left throughout the night and I believe the Vance's were the last ones to leave about 9:30-10:00. Jana's kids ended up staying the night since Jana and Felipe were gone. But it was fun Thanksgiving.
