So last month we went to California...it was A LOT of fun! This is the 1st time I've gone in 3 years. It was also really being able to see
Jason and Julie. I haven't seen them in about 6 years, I also FINALLY got to meet Riley who I hadn't met yet. So, it was of of course really fun to meet her. One day e took the kids to Scandia which is an arcade and is kind of a cross between Funtasia and Chuck E. Cheese. The kids had fun playing Miniature Golf, Water Bumper Boats, and dad and Adrian went on the Go-Karts. We of course went and visited Grandma and Grandpa. since this was going to be the last time we would be seeing her (she passed away 2 weeks later) we also got to meet Aunt Teri's (dad's s sister) new beau Roger who is AWESOME. Afterwards we went to the hotel that Jason, Julie, Paige, and Riley were staying out so we could go swimming in their pool. We of course went up to the cabin but we only spent one day there since the snow melted late this year so it was really muddy and there were a lot of mosquitoes (It was like how it is is June) and I realized when we were almost there that I forgot my purse and camera at Jeri's house so I didn't get to take any pictures at the cabin. Jason,Julie, mom, dad, Jana, Jerri, and John went out to dinner one night so Paige and I stayed home with the kids, We of course had Jimboys taco throughout our visit and Adrian and Grandpa were having a contest of who ate more tacos and i think dad beat Adrian by 1 or 2. On our last day there Jana, dad, John and the kids went to the Roseville Auction and mom and Jeri went to Home Goods. But it was a lot of fun it was good being able to be back in California it has been way to long. The 1st thing I said to dad when we got into Sacramento at 8:00 in the morning was "Oh my goodness it so good to see a Palm Tree again." Yes I had fun...it was too short and I'm glad I got to go.

1 awesome comments:
I was born in Northern California, and at the time my parents were best friends with the people who owned Scandia. Every year we'd visit California and my dad would take us there for free, until their friends sold it. Too bad I was too young to remember it.
