Elyse and Joel's Wedding

Man I'm SO behind! Elyse and Joel have  been married for 2 months now and I'm just NOW starting to get around to blogging about it. Well. my best friend Elyse married her boyfriend Joel on July 2nd. Her wedding was so special to me because not only was it my best friends wedding but it was the 1st time I had the opportunity to serve as a bridesmaid. So her wedding started the night before at the Hudson's house where the bridesmaids were busy getting EVERYTHING all ready for the next day from flower arrangement's to getting all of the food ready. We all didn't leave until 2:00 in the morning. We were supposed to be at the Hudson's again the next day at 7:00 in the morning (I was the only one that was there) the morning was pure chaos from fixing mine and Chelsea's bridesmaid's dresses, to finishing the food and even accidentally setting the Hudson's oven on fire. I had to leave and go to Fred Meyers so I could get some of their engagement pictures printed up to display at the wedding and what should've only been a 15-20 minute thing turned out to be an hour thing. I didn't even really get to see Elyse before the wedding since by the time I got back she was already at her hair appointment. The wedding was supposed to start at 12:00 but that didn't happen. But her wedding went off without any hitches. The weather was perfect, Elyse and Joel looked amazing. Some of us stayed at Richmond Beach for another 2 hours after the reception was over waiting for Lance to show up with a trailer. We got everything loaded and unloaded. Afterwards I went to the Alvarado's where Elyse and Joel were at (hanging out with friends) hung out there for awhile, then I got to see them off. I FINALLY got home at 10:30-11:00. It was a very busy couple of days and stressful at times, but it was worth it to see Elyse and Joel have a beautiful wedding. Congrats Elyse and Joel.
