Finally!!!

After a couple of weeks of pure frustration and annoyance and pretty much wanting to rip my hair out, I FINALLY have my blog the way I want it!! I made it into a 3 column layout (which is the layout that you see now), I put a favicon icon in (which is the picture you see in the address bar), I made the header picture look the way I wanted it, I made a Navigation Bar (which is the "HOME" "ABOUT" "MY PAST" & "CONTACT" thing that you see above) I updated all of those "categories". I removed some unsightly things on my blog that I wanted removed and last but certainly not least is the cool signature that you see at the bottom, and now my blog is the way that I have wanted it for awhile!!! Thanks to my friend who helped me (she knows who she is thanks for the info on how to edit HTML codes it's complicated, but she rocks)...

So news and updates...the job front.... nothing yet, but still plugging away and applying left and right.

Yesterday my friend Joe Cannon went through the temple to receive his endowments because like I said in a previous post he is going to Phoenix, Arizona on his mission and there were a couple of people from the Halls Lake Ward there to support him. It was awesome to be there to support Joe. This is the 1st time I went through with someone I know and who was going through for their own endowments, so that was pretty cool. Congratulations Joe

The Halls Lake Ward received a new bishopric recently since again like I said in a previous post Bishop (President) Lee got called as Stake President...our new Bishop is Bishop Wilcoxson, the 1st Counselor is Brother Hamm, and 2nd Counselor is Brother Shorten...I'm excited to have the Wilcoxson's stay in our ward and he's going to be a fabulous Bishop, I'm excited to be with the Hamm's again (Brother Hamm was Halls Lake's High Council rep for awhile) and Brother & Sister Hamm are pretty much awesome, and I'm excited to get to know Brother and Sister Shorten.

Speaking of Bishop & Sister Wilcoxson they are SO AMAZING, let me explain....so last month the Halls Lake Ward did Baptisms for the Dead at the temple and I lost my temple recommend!! I know SAD RIGHT? But I wasn't too worried about replacing my recommend, because it's easy enough to get a new one..but however I had a nice durable card holder that protects it that Annie had given me when I went through the temple for the 1st time, and that got lost with it....and I was sad because 1. Annie bought it for me and I felt bad that I lost a gift, and 2 since I'm not working I don't have the money to replace it...well Bishop & Sister Wilcoxson drove me to the temple last night for Joe's endowement session and afterward we went to the church bookstore nearby and they bought me ....that's right.....A NEW CARD HOLDER!! They are so sweet and I GREATLY GREATLY appreciate it. I love you guys a lot!!

OK...Let's see what else?

This last week I was sick with my Abdominal Migraines (I've had it since I was 3) and was really sick. It causes me to have flu like symptoms...like achiness...not being able to keep anything down....etc...I had it from Sunday until Thursday, but I'm feeling better now!!

My mom is having surgery tomorrow morning (March 15th) on her other knee so she's going to be out of commission for a couple of weeks. So I'll be busy helping her out.

This is a week of birthdays in my family (March 14-20)...Aiden's is on the 14th (today so happy birthday Aiden), Jason's is tomorrow the 15th, Jana's is on Tuesday the 16th, and Chloe's is on the Wednesday the 17th...(St. Patty's day)

On Wednesday I am going with Elyse to try on wedding gowns at David's Bridal so she can see what styles she likes and also because they're having their $99.00 sale whether or not she buys a dress on Wednesday I don't know, but I'm excited to go do that with her...who knows maybe I'll try on some bridesmaids dresses too.

Oh...the 21st is my birthday....

Hmmm....well, I think that's all the biggies for now...

I hope you like my new blog and be sure to check out my Navigation Bar, and all the other new things I have done with my blog and let me know what you think!
